ACF 7's (8U - 10U)

Foundations Through Play

AFC 7’s is the entry point into Academy FC’s competitive pathway, designed to introduce young players to team play while preserving creativity, confidence, and joy. The focus at this stage is on ball mastery, decision-making, and learning the game through age-appropriate competition. Training and matches emphasize 1v1 and 2v2 moments, comfort in possession, and simple attacking and defending principles. Results are secondary to engagement, learning, and enjoyment, ensuring players develop a love for the game while building the technical and emotional foundation needed for future stages within AFC.

Training

Players will be given the chance to train up to 3 times a week year-round. Training will be centered on ball mastery and developing a deep and fundamental relationship to the ball. Each athlete will be placed in an environment that encourages creativity, confidence, and bravery without fear of failure.

Games & Tournaments

Athletes will compete in local and reginal academy events and tournaments that will be selected to appropriately challenge each athlete and team. Rosters will be intentionally limited for matches and tournaments to maximize playing time. Game time should always be greater than the drive time to the match.

Fees

Performance Track: $100 per month training fees, $100 per season fee (Fall and Spring) (Unlimited sessions - 3+ per week available & year-round training, and free open play)
